Construction Update 06-30-2018
Still pushing on the interior to reach the milestone of hanging drywall while the exterior is being prepped to receive metal panels.
Exterior waterproofing is complete and installation of the SMARTci continuous insulation system is in progress. Once this insulation is installed over the block walls, the corrugated metal panels will be installed.
Framing of walls, ceiling and final blocking are complete. The glass contractor was onsite to document final measurements for all of the interior glass walls so those can go into production.
Glass was installed in the skylight, permanently drying in the roof and providing a nice view of the sky.
Plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and sprinkler have been receiving final inspections on the first and second floor office areas to allow drywall installation to begin. Blocking has been installed for the wall mounted TVs, toilet partitions, grab bars, etc.
Upcoming Week Look Ahead:
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler rough-ins
- Final inspections at 1st and 2nd floor office areas
- Skylight glass installation
- Hang drywall at 1st floor ceiling and walls
- Exterior insulation at block walls
